Servicing your vehicle and maintaining your warranty
Under the Block Exemption regulations introduced in 2003 you are free to choose where your vehicle is serviced without it invalidating your warranty, provided that the Independent garage follow the manufacturer’s service schedules, and use ‘original spare parts’ or parts that are manufactured to Original Equipment (OE) standard. At Vale Auto Services Ltd we strictly adhere to manufacturers’ schedules and use only original parts or (OE) equivalent parts and quality oil, which means that having your vehicle serviced by us will not invalidate your warranty. Should your franchise garage claim that having your vehicle serviced outside the Franchise network will invalidate your manufacturer warranty, they are incorrect and are contrary to European regulations. After completing any type of service schedule we will also stamp your service book. This will preserve any existing warranty, which later will help with the resale value of your car.
